Stonefield, a family of four sisters headlines BMF 2017. The fourth Beechworth Music Festival kicks off on January 27/28 with two nights of free camping, great local/regional food and refreshments with a killer lineup of artists.
Also included on the line up are Gabriella Cohen, Tracy McNeil and the Goodlife, The Sugarcanes, My Left Boot, The Harlots, Liv Cartledge, Grindhouse, Danny Walsh Banned and local Beechworth lads Defuxe as well as Beechworth’s Bush Poet Geoff Jackson and Melbourne’s DJ Mermaid and Emma Peel spinning tunes in between acts. MC for the day is Beechworth’s own musician, singer songwriter and all round legend Marisa Quigley.
BMF is also becoming known for being kid friendly and this year for the first time we will have an area for kids with shade, seats, some fun things to do and a jumping castle. An adult jumping castle has also been booked for all the wannabe kids! Gates will open for campers at 4pm Friday the 27th January with some local entertainment and refreshments on offer with the big day of music starting at around 11.30am on Saturday the 28th. Gates on Saturday morning open at 8am.
Tickets are available at www.beechworthmusicfestival.com, via our facebook page and locally, from across the counter at The Beechworth Butchery, Ford St Beechworth. Early Bird $75, Standard - $85, kids under 14 free and at the gate $90. Patrons can also get an evening ticket to see the five top bands, at the gate only for $50 from 5pm.
